FNZ NEW YORK

In the heart of Manhattan, this multi-level space on the 25th and 26th floors is a light filled, high end space. The double height façade not only floods the space with natural light, but also provides spectacular views across the New York City skyline. A complex project, with a multi-disciplinary team. Union labour was employed throughout the installation of the project. Upon entering the space, you are greeted with the trademark FNZ reception area, incorporating polished concrete floors, stone reception desk, angular acoustic wooden slats, and awesome views out to the New Yorker. A new feature perforated metal staircase links the meeting rooms on the 25th floor, with the business lounge on the 26th floor. From up on this mezzanine level, you can really appreciate the volume of the space, including the canopy of the trees on the floor below. A mixture of breakout furniture provides different settings throughout the open plan office, enabling a range of activities, including informal meetings, private phone booths and collaborative high benches. A self contained executive office incorporates bespoke joinery with coffee station and TV with integrated AV and soft seating for getting away form the desk. A modular, accessible slat system was built into the roof of this single height space, to disguise the HVAC kit when viewed from the mezzanine level. The large tea point and breakout space provides an area for socialising, as well as AV setup for all hands townhall meetings. Accessed via the mezzanine level business lounge, an external terrace really makes the most of the views out to the Empire state building, Rockefeller, New Yorker and the Hudson river. A high class fit out, worthy of this fantastic location.
