Inside FNZ’s Bishopsgate workplace, a fast-growing Fin Tech company on the 10th floor of the iconic 135 Bishopsgate building, the GTA team carried out a full CAT A and CAT B design and build for their new London flagship office. With black Fenix and angled wood fin wall panelling throughout, it became a feature of each of their global offices.

HOW WE DID IT...

The client brief was to create a ‘grown up’ fin tech office for FNZ’s new London flagship office. Working closely with both FNZ and the building landlord, British Lands, team, GTA carried out full Design and Build for the CAT A and CAT B of the space. The main reception and client zone feature large format concrete tiles, black Fenix wall panelling and marble reception desk. Angled wood fin wall panelling highlights the curved crittal effect glazing. Cloaking technology applied to the meeting rooms glazing, and one-way glass to the external terrace provides an open feel, whilst maintaining confidentiality by shielding the view of any display screens from outside the room. The main boardroom features a bespoke black marble table, which provides a slick and clear surface, enabled by the fully wireless AV and video conferencing system. Suspended ceiling rafts with acoustic slats provide the height and feel of the exposed services. The large staff teapoint and breakout area provides a link between the client zone and the main open plan office area. A ‘smart’ integrated hydro tap provides instant hot and cold refreshments at the tap of an iPad. Planting and shelving throughout the open plan area help to create team zones, and pockets of collaboration areas. Switch curved glass to the CEO’s office and iPad room booking system add the finishing touches to this hi-tech office, quality finish space.
