WATERLOO

Working closely with Monitor’s project director and head of facilities GTA Interior carried out design workshops to understand how the business operated. Residing across three different buildings, Monitor took the opportunity to condense their real estate and implement new ways of working.

AT A GLANCE

DEBORAH YOUNGER, CHANGE MANAGER, MONITOR

This project was a fantastic opportunity to consolidate three offices into one new home for Monitor and rationalise the way we work in the process. GTA helped us adopt new ways of working and manage this change.

HOW WE DID IT...

The phasing of the Fit Out, influenced by design and departmental adjacencies, allowed Monitor to take occupancy as each floor was completed with minimal disruption to business operation. GTA engaged with individual departments every step of the way to aid change management. Monitor moved away from lots of cellular office to open plan desking and collaborative zones and integrated technology to assist meeting room utilisation, video conferencing and bookable hot desking. GTA embraced Monitor’s vision creating an office that emulates the brand against a subtle palette of finishes sympathetic to public opinion. Non bookable collaborative zones and a large break out hub central to the three floors encourage staff communication and interaction bringing teams together all under one roof!
